Abstract

The study investigated Medical Students use of internet at the College of Health Sciences, Delta State University, Abraka, library y and its branches. Using a questionnaire, data were collected from 126 medical students in the medical/surgery programme, randomly selected from a population of 434. The findings revealed responses on the use of Internet (63.00%), Internet experience (29.37%), access time (41.27%), reasons of using such as checking/receiving mails (100%); frequency on daily use basis (66.67%) and the problem encountered as a result slow internet access speed/failure of services attracted (66.67%) response. The study recommended that medical students should be encouraged to be computer literate.
